BY CAR:

By car, you can get here on the A4 motorway from Venice or Trieste; the A23 motorway connects Udine to Carnia and Austria. To reach the city centre and Hotel Cristallo (signs for "Stazione FFSS", railway station), you must leave the motorway at the Udine SUD toll.

BY TRAIN:

As regards the rail connections, there are many lines that pass through Udine from Venice-Mestre, Trieste, and from the border between Italy and Austria. From the square in front of the railway station in a few minutes you can reach the city centre on foot; but an efficient bus service and a taxi service are also available.

When you leave the station, you will find Hotel Cristallo about a hundred metres to the right.

BY PLANE:

If you prefer flying the nearest airport is at Ronchi dei Legionari (Trieste). It is connected to Udine by a bus service that leaves from the square in front of the airport taking approximately 40 minutes. The bus stop to and from the airport is very near Hotel Cristallo (Viale Leopardi, bus stop "Autostazione", bus station).
